Which areas do you service?

We provide a full mobile service to the following areas: Ipswich ,Springfield, Logan ,Browns Plains, Brisbane Southern Suburbs.

How much do you charge for a standard service?

Are prices depend on the service and vehicle type typically they start at $125 to $350.

Do I need a safety certificate and when is it required?

You do need a Safety Certificate if you are selling or changing ownership, re-registering your vehicle, or your vehicle came from interstate. However, regarding trailers you don’t require a Safety Certificate under 750kg (only in qld plates). But if you still would like one, we would be more than happy to provide a Safety Certificate to you.

Does a safety certificate take long to do?

Depending on the complexity of the vehicle, it can take up to 30-40 minutes to complete. A report is sent to you after your inspection.

If my vehicle doesn’t pass, what happens next?

If your vehicle didn’t pass the first Safety Inspection, an inspection notice will be sent to your nominated email. You have 14 days from the date of the first inspection to get the repairs completed. You won’t be charged a full price for reinspection! Only a small call out fee.

What happens if I have modifications on my vehicle?

Safety certificates can only cover certain modifications to your vehicle, to deem it still road legal. If it is extensive the modification to the vehicle, it will require a modification plate issued by a licenced person. For further information, please refer to Light Vehicle Modifications

Is a Safety Certificate the same as a Roadworthy Safety Certificate?

Yes a Safety Certificate the same as a Roadworthy Safety Certificate.

How long does a Safety Certificates last for?

Other Sellers – Safety Certificates are valid for 2months or 2000kms (whichever comes first). Licence dealers – Safety Certificate are valid for 3 months or 1000kms (whichever comes first).

What if I can’t be there for an inspection?

That’s ok, I can do your roadworthy anywhere at home, workplace or at the public area. This happens quite a lot especially for pre – purchases when the buyer isn’t there. Please contact the seller before booking with us. This will assist in a smooth transaction.

What do we look for while doing a Safety Inspection? Are you strict with your inspections?

Can I Use A Safety Certificate multiple times?

A safety certificate can only be used ONCE. You will need a new safety certificate if you are selling a vehicle.

When is a Safety Certificate not needed?
You don’t need a safety certificate if you meet these criteria’s.

  • The disposer being in an exempt area.
  • Beneficiary of a deceased estate.
  • Between spouses and remote locations.
If my vehicle is unregistered is this ok?

That’s ok. When road testing your vehicle we carry a trade plate which assist us in completing your road test in a safe and legal manner.
