ROAD SAFETY UPGRADES IN THE HERVEY BAY AREA
Maryborough – Hervey Bay Road and Pialba – Burrum Heads Road, upgrade intersection
A+ Mobile Roadworthy gives ideas and compliments to Queensland Governments forum in Hervey Bay regarding road safety to the community. Due to the expansion in population, the increased congestion in this area, the Queensland government funded and is delivering a Major intersection to the Burrum Heads and Eli Waters.
This work will improve the safety of motorists around the Hervey Bay area. There will be 4 lanes instead of 2 for the increased traffic movement. Pedestrian and bike riding facilities will be upgraded with shared paths and extra bike crossings. This funding is jointly funded by the governments and is expected to cost around $45 Million.
